Angel Valley Farm is the first and only Shiitake mushroom farm to be approved by "The Food Alliance".

"The Food Alliance" (TFA) is a non-profit coalition of farmers, consumers, scientists, grocers and environmentalists that are working together to ensure that all our future generations will inherit our part of the Earth in its healthiest possible state. TFA does on-site intensive evaluations of all practices used to create products and renders approval based on the farm's fulfullment of the guidelines TFA has adopted. Angel Valley Farm had to meet very strict sustainable criteria in the areas of pest and disease management, soil/water conservation and human resource management to become and stay approved!

The "Food Alliance" eco-label guarantees you that our mushrooms were not grown at the expense of the environment and never will be.
